It is good news that your pain has significantly diminished with the use of steroids. The nerve still seems to be under some compression (“i am not able to sit in my chair for more den 30 minutes as theres a tingling effect like numbness in my right foot”) but that can improve over time.

Seromas do not reduce in size with steroids but simply over time, the body resorbs them most of the time.

If the pain returns to the same intensity after the steroid use stops, a new MRI is warranted. If the pain is only “annoying” but not impairing, you could “wait it out” to see if time improves the level of pain.

Your improvement is encouraging. Gently “stretch” the nerve by doing hamstring stretches. If you go too hard, you will cause more inflammation and increase symptoms. Just gentile stretches and the nerve should be able to tolerate the stretch.
