    Also one more thing does the bone grows back after laminotomy which is perform before microdisectomy??

    Chiropractors can be helpful 4-6 months after a microdisectomy in some individuals. The manipulation in the lumbar spine should be mobilization (no ballistic forces) and not a forceful “adjustment”.

    Bone does not generally grow back after a laminotomy.

    MRIs can be performed anytime after surgery. These image can be slightly more difficult to interpret in the early post-op period but we do this all the time. There is no rule that you have to wait one year to get a new MRI. Gadolinium (contrast) can be helpful in the early post-operative period.
