    Hi Derrick –
    How are you doing?
Did they see your C2/Dens pass the line of the basilar skull? (Basion)

Curious what your symptoms are – i’m fighting something massive and I feel the same as you texted.

Thank you so much for replying
    – so far I’m told no Chiari after 3 MRIs. I have retrolesthesis, bulging
But as for CSF Leak – no one will look because I “don’t have THE headache” and I can get up and walk normal but I get orthostatic for a few seconds only.

Clunking only happens when jumping or laying over a rolled towel and C2 is pushed up when I’m relaxed. If I tighten up my neck muscles it clunks. Which is why on DMX I made them do this test at the end. But upright MRI or upright XRay Wint show anything with gravity.

Now I can’t rotate my head at all much but Dr now all say – try PT, Accupuncture, Psychiatry…

What happened to this issue? What was the outcome?

I would now say since 2016 would not a DMX using APOM Lateral flexion be the way to see Alar integrity?
Even I made the DMX place let me lie down over a fulcrum and I can see what looks like a partial dislocation as when I relax and tense my neck muscles – it clunks. I Pain.
Unless it’s the Capsule Ligament on one side?

    No Doctor really helps me.

Thank you… the pain I suffer now is across the whole occipital region surrounding the atlas. The clunk sound is aggravating when I jump… along with the vertebral artery pumping LOUD when heart rate is up due to exercise.

I can’t spleep the pain is annoying… the tinnitus is on and off and sound comes and goes.

Thank you for the quick reply! Very appreciated

    ???
Trying not to freak out now
I, laying on a couch.. progressively through the years it started with the sound of dry breath he and sand paper when turning my head. Of course Doctors near me just give Advil and Creams and recommend PT

Now suddenly I had massive anxiety issues the past 2 years. So a lot of psychosomatic tension added.

While doing Jumping Jacks or felt like my head would skull would pop off the atlas (head lift off my neck$ and clunk back down.
If my heart rate is up while exercising my pulse would clunk through the occipital area (loud pulse pounding top of neck).
Now I have this very weird pain when turn or extend my head.
    The pain is chronic now.

X-Ray shows no subluxation other than my curve is not the best. My chiro says my Atlas C1 is locked up.

My ortho or Primary hasn’t approved MRI yet. I wonder if I should request with contrast?

I don’t know if some of this mental anxiety or panic is a result of or the cause of? maybe even the SVT (heart arrhythmia / Tachycardia).

It seems this issue is rare in the book of diagnosis

I don’t know what to do

    Rob
