    The MRI will allow visualization of the nerve root and the disc next to it. The gadolinium will help to differentiate disc material from scar. We will have good information to understand why you continue with pain.

    Will this mri also detect stuff like bulging or herniated disk or facet joint touching a nerve?

    Pain was really bad yesterday evening and night.
