A CT scan is the best study to determine the position of pedicle screws (if performed on a very good scanner with the correct technique).

Thankyou for your great ideas. You told me to take a ct scan and I did that. In my ct showing the pedicle screw in the left side l3-l4 is sticking out and it should be removed.

doctor What type of imaging can show bilateral foraminal stenosis?

A photo showing the exact details of Foramen? Please tell me what the necessary techniques is?

Is an axial or sagital view or so on.

    Thank you very much

Foraminal stenosis on a CT scan will show bony narrowing but may not show non-bone tissue compression. The best way to look at foraminal stenosis on a CT is to look at the sagittal views of the foramen and compare to the axial views of the same level. You can also compare to a standing X-ray which adds the gravity factor to the equation.

Hello doctor. Thankyou so much for your great ideas. Would you please talk a little more about a standing X-ray which adds the gravity factor?

    What does gravity factor means?

You are the best doctor I know.
