C4-5 there is diffuse bulging of disc which indents the anterior aspect of the cord causing spinal stenosis.
C5-6 there is diffuse bulging of disc which indents the anterior aspect of the cord with flattening causing spinal stenosis.

    History:
23 year old female, non smoker, no previous medical history before rear ended in MVA.
My symptoms: tingling in the hands and feet, headache, shoulders are useless, arms and legs are weak and I fell back in January from this. I have altered walking, mother says I walk like a duck. Shortness of breath, I have had confusion and sometimes feel “out of it”. neck stiffness, burning type pain. I tried physical therapy and I had to stop going because one day I threw up while doing the exercises from dizziness.

Does this sound normal for these levels and your legs can be affected by your neck, OnE Doctor I saw said no!!?

Hi Doctor, I have a neck cervical pain which resulting from a long sleeping hour in sofa. The muscle of neck a little tight like spasm and other symptoms include light numbness on left hand associated with needles and pin sensation. After examination of Mri show that disc bulging on C4 c5 and C5 c6 there is no nerve compression on spinal cord, the MRi was carried out last year July 2015. However, after a period of 10 months time . THE neck pain come back with the previous symptoms , light numbness on left hand and a little burning on finger thumb as well as pin needles. Since Mri show that there is no real compression on spinal cord, what other possibilities to cause finger a little burning Disc bulge on vertebrate C4 c5 and C5 c6 or the neck muscle tendon joint . Now I felt the neck muscle a little bit tight , when turning is a bit of stiff is that related with long sleeping hour in sofa. Now I change to sleep on flat surface .

Hand paresthesias (pins and needles) commonly can occur from nerve root compression called foraminal stenosis and not from cord compression. Neck pain can be generated from disc degeneration or facet degeneration which goes along with foraminal stenosis. See https://neckandback.com/conditions/radiculopathy-pinched-nerve-in-neck/, https://neckandback.com/conditions/cervical-degenerative-disc-disease/ and https://neckandback.com/conditions/cervical-degenerative-facet-disease/.

Hand symptoms can also occur from entrapment neuropathies. See https://neckandback.com/conditions/nerve-entrapment-compression/.
