Good Morning,
I’m approaching 6 weeks post surgery this Friday and will no longer have to wear my back brace. You mention to revisit symptoms around this time. While it does seem like the symptoms have lessened some (less burning on the opposite leg), I does still get a little occasional burning (nothing horrible) from time to time. I’d have to say 1-2 times a day at most if that for a few seconds. Every now and then it will last longer thru out the day if I am on my feet doing a lot. What I notice most thru out the day only that is somewhat constant is the big toe seem a little numb (even though its not)..
With this said does this warrant my getting a MRI or give things a little more time first to see if things continue to calm down more since nothing has gotten and worst at this point.
Also I plan to start PT next week. Is that ok?

in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #25336Sometime I wonder if my sleeping is aggregating the right side. Pressing on right hip area. I try to change positions. But then again should not matter uh f it does not happen on left side.

In your opinion does it matter what back brace I wear? I have to big one I got from hospital after surgury I wear at home but when at work I wear a,smaller one I purchased that I can wear under my shirt.
