in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27870
Now I’m more certain what I have is nerve pain. Location at right butt area. I had pain here before my first surgery caused by stenosis.
I’d have to get and mri to be certain.
Not sure what is next. I know I don’t want another surgery and fusion.
I might have to just live with this
in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27845Its been a week now and the soreness is not gone yet. it has not gotten any worse. Some days it seems better. For now I just take Tylenol/ibprofin to help some. I am 80% sure it is muscle related rather back/nerve.
I’ll give it another week. if not better see a doctor. All I do from day to day is walk a mile at lunch unless I strain something around the side hip area on walk or going up stairs or this hard chair I sit in at work.
in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27829I’m up this morning walking around with a limp. No fun. I hope it’s nothing. I’ll take motrain and see if that helps

I’ll let my body continue to heal and try running in November. By then 1 year would have pass since surgery
in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27583I had my 3 month post op appointment yesterday. He said look like I’m doing well and I have one more follow up in 6 months. I ask about knot on back. He said don’t rub on it or anything and it should gradually go down. As far as the toes with blister feeling he did not say much beside might get better in time.
He said there are no restrictions at this point and I can run if I want, although I’ll wait a while longer.
