in reply to: ADR FACET AND ARTHRITIS #34491It is always a better indication to implant for arm pain (foraminal stenosis or HNP) than for neck pain or deformity (you say that but i read in your topic DDD ” Mechanically, everything in the cervical spine revolves around the disc. The disc functions like a shock absorber. This structure absorbs impact and still allows for motion of the spine. It also has to have restraints to prevent damage to itself and the other spinal structures such as the nerves and facets” SO ITS NOT sound like this (i not have herniated disc in stenosis (what i write in posterior ligament compress (in early topic its my opinion from what i see in (full axial 100 images and sagittal (i can show u what i mind but maybe i wrong (i m not spine surgeon or radiologic but i learn from (lecture ,google ,see my image of 2020 and 2021 axial 1.5 mm and i see from posterior the csf its break in some area (gave me to show u little image in link short (sometimes image “one picture is worth a thousand words) this It’s a proverb in my language but it may be universal as well

in reply to: what is normal average disc in cervical spine mri #34489in the start u say this ” There is also a variation that is congenital. Central measures are from 5-8 mm.”
after u arrived you say :
“Narrowing of the disk height by a small percentage is not an indication for surgery” i understand this but (u you are referring to a specific case when u say that what a bout if the disc is 2.5 mm or degeneration and loss high a cross the width (who is expert can see this MRI and know if its indicate better to ADR
why u say that ?Meni
