    I understand why
1 . you say this (“The ADR in the cervical spine can reduce the chances of adjacent segment disease (ASD) by a very small percentage as compared to the ACD”
    What u call very small?
So this surgery not give good device (more than acdf
So its. Sounds like its not very give nice advantage !

i read your topic “It turns out that genetics plays a big role in the determination of the health of a disc. There have been reports of degenerative changes above and below implanted artificial discs so the additional motion may not solve the dilemma of continuing degenerative changes” (https://neckandback.com/treatments/artificial-disc-replacement-adr-for-cervical-spine/)
this not write like what u say ear :(“The ADR in the cervical spine can reduce the chances of adjacent segment disease (ASD) by a very small percentage as compared to the ACDF”

It is always a better indication to implant for arm pain (foraminal stenosis or HNP) than for neck pain or deformity (you say that but i read in your topic DDD ” Mechanically, everything in the cervical spine revolves around the disc. The disc functions like a shock absorber. This structure absorbs impact and still allows for motion of the spine. It also has to have restraints to prevent damage to itself and the other spinal structures such as the nerves and facets” SO ITS NOT sound like this (i not have herniated disc in stenosis (what i write in posterior ligament compress (in early topic its my opinion from what i see in (full axial 100 images and sagittal (i can show u what i mind but maybe i wrong (i m not spine surgeon or radiologic but i learn from (lecture ,google ,see my image of 2020 and 2021 axial 1.5 mm and i see from posterior the csf its break in some area (gave me to show u little image in link short (sometimes image “one picture is worth a thousand words) this It’s a proverb in my language but it may be universal as well
