in reply to: Spinal steroid adverse reactions. #11940
Dr. C….
Went to ER again yesterday but the injections they gave me provided no relief.
I have MRI scheduled for Friday, but doctor won’t get results until next Monday, and still airing for him to make appointment to go over the results.
Meanwhile I am in extreme agony now! Is there anything I can do to help relieve this terrible pain?
in reply to: Spinal steroid adverse reactions. #11935Dr., if I made an appointment, could you help me? All options are gone for me here in Oregon. I’m in extreme agony tonight! Nothing is helping to relieve the pain!

in reply to: Spinal steroid adverse reactions. #11933Yes, my symptoms don’t match my condition, and this causes many doctors to not believe me, and thetefire I don’t get the care or treatment I need. I have been trying to get my current doctors to schedule an MRI but to no avail. Because they’ve never seen my adverse reaction before, I must be a liar and and they won’t help me. In doomed to suffer needlessly. If they would do an MRI I’m sure they’d be surprised by what they see end apologize for my mistreatment. But how can I force them to schedule me one? I can’t.
I don’t know what to do anymore!
Thanks,
Ron K.
PS… My pain doctor insists on giving me topical foot medications when I keep telling her my problem is in my back. She just won’t listen to me! I’m tired of this crap already!

Went to ER yesterday. Still suffering terribly from the steroid injection. Doctors don’t believe me because I’m medically weird. What can I do to relieve the intense pain in my feet and my inability to walk very far? All this from injection that was supposed to help!
in reply to: Spinal steroid adverse reactions. #11907Thank you.
in reply to: Spinal steroid adverse reactions. #11903Was just at the ER. Only thing they found was a slightly elevated white count. Then said an MRIS isn’t necessary and sent me home still in great pain and walking dysfunctionally. Don’t think they believed me because I am medically weird? Said to wait and it should pass and then I should feel relief from the steroid. I doubt that very much now.
But what can I do about the increased pain? My meds aren’t touching it. I can’t sleep or eat because of it.
And thanks for answering so quickly.
