Can Foot Drop occur during surgery if your legs or knees or held too long in one position on the surgery table?

The leads were first placed T10-T11 interspace which didn’t give enough involvement in either left or right legs. The lead was then extended from the lower margin of T7 and then T8, T9 regions. Then second lead just right and a little bit overlapping with the first.

I don’t remember having a MRI/ or myelogram CT scan after surgery. I would remember having to lye on my back for several hours after?

    1) not sure I think next to the spinal cord lower back
    2) It took them two hours trying for a good placement and at one point it made my stomach muscles tighten
    3) I did not have an MRI or CT after surgery nothing with dye.

I’m going to check my medical records

Do you have any suggestions how to calm down a nerve or nerves? It’s so debilitating.

Not the formal trial. It was a set of leads placed under the skin on each side of the spine for little over a week. My insurance paid to have this done. Boy did I suffer with more pain than I wanted.
Interesting you would ask about a post-operative MRI or a CT never had one done.
    What is a myelogram?

I feel there is a nerve being compressed in the upper buttock now, because when I turn over it bits me. I feel its swollen in this area and hurts like heck. When it gets bad like it is now I get hot pain to the right foot and ankle area. I tried the stimulator it aggravated the nerves worse. I am on the highest does of gabapentin, you can take. I have a pain management doctor. Now the nerve damage is done I need a doctor who knows how to give me the right pain medications for the pain that feels like electricity hot and extremely painful (no amount of pain medication works with the type of pain). Nobody knows what to do with me…maybe they just don’t know how? All I know is I was not like this before surgery. What is residual compression? Thank you for your suggestions.
