    Sir,
I am obliged to receive your response to my mail dated 4th nov.
I was undergone spine surgery for the first time on 28th june 2003 suspecting pott’s spine disease ,but after operation no major ailment was found.
Simply granuluma deposition was found on the spine at D5-D6 level. As the Dr has committed surgical mistake at Bhopal. I was shifted to Jaslok hospital and research centre Mumbai in the month of aug, 2003.
They have advised that I should have not undergone for the surgery at Bhopal. As there were no sufficient evidence for pots disease and it should have rectified by oral medicines.
Dr at Mumbai tried there level best to eradicate the disease by oral medication for about 1 and half month.
But since i was staggering while walking ,they have taken 4 /5 times MRI and observed that there was space left about half cm and for correcting the mistake.
I was operated 2nd time on 26th sept.2003 for redressal.
Thereafter almost one and half year, tough therepy I started walking with the help of elbow cratches but the problem of spasticity /spasams persist till now.
Kindly give your valuable attention over the problem and please let me know whether it could be corrected fully.
Please also advise me as to whether i could meet you in person and when and at what place.

You had some type of disorder in your mid thoracic spine that prompted the surgeon to operate. I am unclear what surgery you underwent but the results obviously caused you to be transferred to a higher level hospital.

The doctors in Mumbai tried to treat you with medications which means there was the possibility of TB or another type of disorder. You had another operation probably due to cord compression and I hope that this was successful and the cord was decompressed.

With spasticity and walking difficulties, you probably had a spinal cord injury. Two issues need to be addressed. First, the cord must have been completely decompressed. New imaging studies need to be performed to prove complete decompression and stability of the spine is important to be present. The other is rehabilitation. Cord injuries take much time to recover from and if there was permanent injury, you might not completely recover.
