    Thank you, although my back is better I have a long way to go with PT and rehab.

    I also need labrum surgery on left shoulder, which I would like to have in the near future. I am told this surgery is in a beach chair.

    Would any thing would preclude me from having shoulder surgery being 6-7 months post TLIf ? I don’t want to screw up healing process with spine fusion and would like to get shoulder fixed asap !

    I am concerned with being positioning during the shoulder surgery, being twisted the wrong way while being moved, etc. Unless, I am awake I wouldn’t trust any one!

    At 6-7 months after TLIF surgery, your spine should be safe for another surgery. You can make the point to the OR personnel that you should not be “manhandled” but treated tenderly during the transition from the hospital bed to the surgical table.
