I am trying to upload images of my MRI but I can’t get it to work. Is there is a section on this forum that helps with this?

I understand what you mean about different doctors giving you varied opinions. Injections have been recommended but I am leary of getting them. If they inject pain medicine and steriods, won’t that just numb me from the pain and I will do activities that might possibly make my neck and back worse?

I’ve been told no dry needling, no chiropractic, and not to use an inversion table. Right now, the only thing that is being recommended is aquatic therapy and I don’t understand how that will help me. Can you explain based on what you see in my MRI’s?

I read other people’s questions about ablation and different treatments. I have bone spurs, would laser surgery be good to remove those? I just need SOMETHING I can do to help get myself better.

Thank you so much for helping me and others here. You are a wonderful doctor and I appreciate it.

Putting MRIs here on the forum are difficult to interpret correctly as the images are selected and all the images need to be perused to fully assess the condition. Injections are not just stop-gap measures as nerves only “complain” when they are inflamed and steroids are great anti-inflammatories. In addition. injections are great diagnostic tools to determine what structures are “hurting”.

I think (based upon very incomplete data which is always a danger) that you could consider gentile chiropractic and use dry needling. I see no reason to dissuade you from an inversion table. Laser surgery is not something to be considered.

Your neck has disc bulging/DDD at C5-7 and a degenerative spondylo at C4-5, a typical pattern. See

I can’t tell based upon the films if you have cervical foraminal stenosis.
