I know I asked a question yesterday but I have another. When I had my first neck surgery my surgeon Advised my lumbar is in almost the same shape and would probably need operated on soon. The new surgeon doesn’t seem concerned about my lumbar although it causes extreme pain to the point I don’t wanna move. I’m not sure what to do about this. Can you offer suggestions. Thank you have a wonderful day

If your lumbar spine is very painful and prevents you from doing activities that you need to perform or enjoy, you might be a candidate for a surgical consultation. See the section “https://neckandback.com/treatments/when-to-have-surgery/” to understand when to consider surgery. This assumes that you have gone through and failed therapy and non-operative treatments.

Most of my treatment has been centered around my neck. Bc of the surgery I guess. I have tried injections and it seemed to cause more pain so that’s not an option any longer. I just know I am in so much pain it is very untolerable. My next appt isn’t until May. My previous Dr retired right after my surgery, but did advice surgery on my lumbar would be necessary soon I forgot to ask for an MRI on my back when I was at my last appt. Thank you for your time Dr
