Is your thigh pain anterior or posterior (front or back)? Do you have an MRI after the surgery? When does your pain occur? See the section https://neckandback.com/conditions/how-to-describe-your-history-and-symptoms-of-lower-back-and-leg-pain/ to understand how to give a complete history.
