Thank you Dr.Corenman. Actually with my very poor knowledge I excessively worry about meningitis or a CSF leak. Is this a possible side effect? Again my neurosurgeon has excluded this possibility.
in reply to: Anterior Cervical Corpectomy C6 #35049Hi Dr.Corneman. It’s being now 1,5 months that I had my c4 – c6 laminectomy. Everything went well however I have developed frontal lobe headache since then and slight fever between 37.0 C to 37.5 C. Is there a possibility that this is a side effect from surgery? My neurosurgeon denies that but I want to hear your opinion. If it matters I had covid the same time I was performed the surgery.
Looking forward for your response.
Thanking you in advance.
in reply to: Anterior Cervical Corpectomy C6 #34842What I do not really understand though is that in C4/C5 the canal stenosis does not show signs of myelopathy. Please confirm.
So I would like to know please if the symptoms are the same with or without myelopathy.
in reply to: Anterior Cervical Corpectomy C6 #34836Hi Dr. Corenman. Hope my message finds you well and healthy. What I would like to ask you… and based on the mri image I sent you recently on [email protected], what are the expected symptoms of the significant stenosis on c4 – c5 and residual stenosis on c6?
Thanking you in advance.

in reply to: Anterior Cervical Corpectomy C6 #34810Since 6 months have passed and I’ve seen no significant improvement in my symptoms (I would say 30/40% max) Shall I accept that my damage is permanent and save whatever can be saved from now on?
