in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27583
I had my 3 month post op appointment yesterday. He said look like I’m doing well and I have one more follow up in 6 months. I ask about knot on back. He said don’t rub on it or anything and it should gradually go down. As far as the toes with blister feeling he did not say much beside might get better in time.
He said there are no restrictions at this point and I can run if I want, although I’ll wait a while longer.
in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27447I never brought this up because it really seem like nothing but I have this small bump or knot under the screen at the top part of where the incision ends. It is more right under the surface of the skin and I can feel it with my finger when I rub on it. I’m not sure if this is from scar tissue or more from a small piece of the stitches that may have never fallen out on its own and skin grew over it as I suspect being that I feel it where there was once a stitch. If so is this anything to be concerned about? It does not hurt, just uncomfortable at times when I sit and lean back against it.

in reply to: Pain in the opposite leg after a laminectomy #27408Recovery is still going well. Still that blister feeling on ties but nothing got worst.
Worthing out everyday. I try to walk 1,mile a day and days I don’t walk ride stationary bike for 30 minutes.
Hope to get back to rubbing eventually.
