    Dr. Corenman,

My family doctor would not send a referral for me to see a general surgeon. I will see my pain management/surgeon next week for a lumbar epidural steroid injection with hopes he will have some new ideas that will help me with my thoracic/abdominal pain. I will let you know. Thank you for helping!

    Dr. Corenman,

I messaged my doctor for a referral to a general surgeon at a different hospital. I pray this doctor will help me. Doctor number 34 could be the answer. I’m hopeful.

    Dr. Corenman,

I have seen a few general surgeons, but they didn’t know what was causing my issues. A have 3 doctors because the first doctor referred me to a doctor that works with him. That doctor referred me to the final surgeon who preformed my surgery. They work together trying to find some sort of solution to my medical issues. Now, I stay in close contact with one of the doctors who then updates the other doctors.

    Dr. Corenman,

Thank you for replying to my questions. I have had MRIs with contrast many times. I have had 33 opinions. Most of the opinions have either been I don’t know, maybe you have an STD(I don’t), maybe you forgot you were pregnant(how the hell would I forget), or I’m accused of being a drug seeker. The 3 surgeons on my case now have ran so many test and the only thing that they can think of is the nerve damage is taking longer to heal because of the damage. I’m just so tired. I had to fight 30 doctors to find the 3 that are helping me now. I just can’t except that this is my new life.
