    Hi Again Dr.

I am still experiencing buttuck pain – like a burn- when i sit and lay flat on my back – also feel my buttuck and low back muscles spasm a lot. If i sit on a hard wood chair with lumbar pillow and can get away with so much pain. Other than that I feel great! Walking a lot!

I will see my PCP next week to discuss my continued pain and any advice she has to give me. Physical therapy is great and am very disciplined with it. (PT thinks buttuck pain will get better with physical therapy and time). The PA at my surgeon’s office recommended an epidural injection (which i just don’t feel like doing), she said to wait on an MRI. I see the surgeon at my 12 week F/U soon.

If there is an issue you spoke to in your message to me, is it safe/effective to do revision surgery? I am hoping i still have opportunity, but hoping i can heal without another surgery as i hear so much negativity about spine surgery.

    Hi Dr.

Thanks so much for your response. I am usually fine with medical procedures. I had a bone scan once with radioactive dye, is that the same thing as Gadolinium? Is Gadolinium safe?

    Thanks Dr.

Sorry Dr. it’s R(R) leg pain, in both instances.
