Just to clarify, MOST of the discomfort is confined to the lower right side of my back. I don’t have painful electric shooting pains, just occasional tingling or ache behind the right leg. The focal point remains the L3-4 area on the right.

    Thanks for looking.

Lower back, right side. Tingling / ache behind leg, hamstring/calf. Nothing of note on the front. Dull / persistent ache is in the same spot as pre original surgery, low back, right side.

Feeling pretty good 1 week out. Strength seems back. I have a (new) achy feeling just to the left of or maybe on the part of my spine that is in the C7-T1-ish area. Can’t be sure which level exactly. I was told there might be some achy-ness pain due to how I was positioned on the table, the procedure itself, etc for up to a few weeks.

Reminder that my surgery was 2 level ADR C5-C7,

    Does that sound right/normal?

Ignore :) seems was transient. Still present.

This may be a TOTAL coincidence or the result of anesthesia still in my system – but my calf pain (which was present for months) has been gone since yesterday after the C5-7 TDR.

    Will see if it returns.

I should clarify, I don’t know exactly when the calf pain started, but I believe it is closer to the onset of c spine issues (after them) than to the resolution of the discitis. Was just giving you the full history.
