    Much appreciated !

Are there people that are predisposed to the risk of ION ?

What is the name of the head holder that should be used ?

you say reduction in surgical time, supine or prone or how long is acceptable under anesthesia ?

IS there anything that I can do or an anesthesiologist can do to eliminate this risk ?

I need a one level fusion, first surgery for me and just want to make sure everything goes well !

    Thank you kindly!

My surgeon told me that the ALIF 360 surgery will last up to 5 1/2 hours.

Would this put me at risk of ION during surgery, starting face up and then being rolled over under anesthesia for that long ?

I understand that ION is rare, however I have come across it a few times now while researching surgeons and hospitals.

    Thank you again

    Thank you !

I have been diagnosed with mild orthostatic intolerance.

Would this put me at further risk with a 3-4 hr surgery ? Any special instruction ?

    Could it be BMP ?

Sad that many surgeons claim that anterior fusion has such high success rates vs. posterior.

are you having Anterior fusion at CCF OR POSTERIOR ? Is it by a orthopedic spine surgeon or neurosurgeon.

Be sure to check their reviews. Some not as good as others but let me know!

    Good luck!!
