Hi Dr, we have seen a back specialist here in the UK, anorther scan performed and are now being advised of injections for the inflammed discs.

Also…from a report. “In the case of an L5 / S1 bulging disc, the nerves in this area control the bowel, bladder, and legs. So it’s very common for a person with this condition to experience changes in their bowel and bladder (not being able to go to the bathroom like normal, having pain while going to the bathroom, or losing control of the bowel or bladder), as well as to experience pain, weakness, and muscle cramps in the legs”.

Hi Dr, I have looked through my Mothers past notes, along with the MRI scan. L4/5 herniation which indents the thecal sac. L4/L5 and L5/S1 facet joints demonstrate early subarticular sclerosis. Also her exray has shown calcification on the left side.

Do you recommend anyone in the UK who we can see? as we are having no result from our NHS service. Would you be so kind to have a look at the MRI scan and notes?

    Best Regards

Thanks Dr Corenman for getting back to me, Ive seen a few of your videos with L5 lower back operations, is my Mothers too far deteriated for you to perform surgery or is it a matter of spinal cord exposure?

Hi Dr Corenman, I was under the impression that surgery to the discs could be performed can you clarify this and explain please. Thanks.

Hi Dr Corenman, I understand and yes we need to localise the disorder in order to resolve the issue. Can I ask for her bulging discs can an operation be performed to repair the discs?

Thanks for the reply Dr Corenman, is it possible the lower back trauma is causing her to have bowel issues?
