Sorry about the confusion. What I meant by that is that I have no slippage, my discs are in pretty good shape and the gap is less than 3 mm

I believe that all of those apply to me

About 3.5 years ago I started having back pain. After a few months we did a CT scan and found the fractures. I have not lost mobility and the pain has not gotten worse over time. I believe that I have kept it in check with stretching and core strengthening, but I think I also reinjured it a few months ago (I have been having more pain) which is why I believe that I should have surgery.

Thanks for all the help. The more I have researched this the more I think that it is the right direction for me to go. I have a few more questions though, I assume you do the surgery right at your facility in Denver? Does insurance generally cover it? If not how much does it cost?

    Thanks

Do you know anyone who does pars repair in the Minnesota area? Or how I could find out who does?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply

I originally fractures mine about 3 years ago and have been doing the conservative things. I am an athlete in pretty good shape so this seems best to me, I have been doing some research of my own as well. I have also realized that most doctors don’t know much about it because of the ones I have talked to. What literature have you been reading?
