I have read the entire thread and I would wish to thank Dr. Corenman for such good advice. Reading your posts help us increase our knowledge and throws some light on the minute possibilities in any treatment. Thank you for doing this noble deed of helping people with your valuable time and advice. Also would like to add that Chiropractic care can help herniated disc. It is not a sure shot treatment but can relieve a lot of trouble if done correctly. It is necessary to study the nuances of the case effectively before starting any treatment for the same.

Thank you Dr.Corenman for your reply and views. I read your posts and it is great to hear a work from you. I totally agree that posture is not the only thing that needs to be addressed, but it is one of the issues I wanted to talk about here as it is not given its due importance. Also over doing anything, be it exercise too is definitely harmful for the back and also the body. Thank you for your feedback on the post. Appreciate it!

Surgery is not needed at this stage and can be avoided by proper treatment. You need to visit a good chiropractor who will administer proper physical exercises, posture correction and will help her feel better. The chiropractic doctor is unique in the health care field in that much of the training in chiropractic colleges is specifically aimed at identifying and successfully treating and managing lower back conditions. This should be combined with the drugs the doctor prescribes. The results will really be great!

I am sorry if I asked a question that was not related to your field of specialization. Sorry if I vexed you with your posts but I was little about her condition that made me post the question. Anyways, on your recommendation I would take her to the endocrinologist.

Thank you doctor for your reply. I would also like to add something here. She had Post Menopausal Bleeding a few years back when the doctor gave her injections to stop the bleeding. Is the weight gain because of that? I would also like to know about the reasons that may have lead to the bleeding.

in reply to: Back Pain #7446

I want to know if there are any ways to cleanse the body from the effects of these pain killers which one has to have due to back pain, arthritis, etc. Thanks for any replies.
