Your shoulder symptoms could be from the neck or the shoulder. A thorough physical examination can many times differentiate between the two. If not, a selective nerve root block at C5-6 and C6-7 with temporary relief of your symptoms would diagnose neck origin where a shoulder diagnostic injection with relief implicates the shoulder as the source.
