Thank you and please forgive all the probing; just want to make sure I fuse!

My surgeon doesn’t like BMP, says he used it in the past for TLIF and had patients had overgrowth. So he uses DBM instead. I do not want to ask him to use BMP because he obviously doesn’t feel comfortable with it or doesn’t know how to use it…

You have said in the past that BMP will increase fusion by 10% ?

What would you say % increase of fusion would be with DBX ?

That rate is compared to autograft bone or DBX.

DBM acts like poor autograft and in my opinion does not significantly increase fusion rate. Therefore, fusion rate with DBM is about 89-91% vs about 99% with BMP.

I think I read on your site that you use DBM in between BMP and cage, correct ?

Do you happen to know if Trninty Elite is any more potent or is it pretty much the same ?

I happen to agree with you regarding efficacy of fusion for DBM, therefore I am a bit cautious.

    Thank you again !
