    Hi Dr. Corenman,

Today the areas of tingling have become very sensitive, I can feel material rubbing off it and a lasting (a few seconds) heightened sensation if I run my finger over the area. Would this be something expected with entrapment neuropathies?

    Thanks,
    M

Any injured nerve can develop hypersensitivity. This would include hypesthesia (heightened sensation) and allodynia (pain with with touch). There is a syndrome called CRPS which can start like this but is rare and more likely that not-not present (https://neckandback.com/conditions/complex-regional-pain-syndrome-crps-reflex-sympathetic-dystrophy-rsd-causalgia/). Since entrapment neuropathy is an injury to the nerve, your symptoms could be expected.
