Hello Doctor,
Thanks to your informative forum I think I’m on the road to a complete recovery. You were truly the best source of info on the Web when I was searching for answers about my cervical radiculopathy.
Just to remind you, I was a long-term sufferer of radiculopathy(over 20 years)and also diagnosed with Congenital Cervical Stenosis. I dealt with the pain in a number of ways for all of those years but finally my right arm/shoulder became profoundly weak. I had a Laminoplasty/Foraminotomy in May of 2014. Seven months later, with no appreciable change in strength I decided to consult you via this forum. You convinced me I needed an ACDF and you were right. In DEC 2014 I had a 3-level ACDF/Sub-total Corpectomy and my strength is slowly improving. I ‘m running short distances and lifting weights again. I wish I had received your guidance before submitting myself to the Laminoplasty. I think its clear that procedure had little chance of success with my history. The ACDF with VG2 lordotic prosthesis and instrumentation is nothing to fear and makes for an easy recovery. Thanks Again!
