    ARE THERE ANY STRETCHES THAT WOULD MAYBE HELP RELIEVE SOME OF THE PAIN AT LEAST THAT IM HAVING DOWN MY LEFT LEG FROM A HERNIATED DISC L5-1 UNTIL I SEE MY DOCTOR THIS WEEK? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE SO APPRECIATED! THIS IS DRIVING ME KINDA NUTTY!!

    Severe nerve pain from a herniated disc is best treated by narcotics, muscle relaxants and oral steroids. If the pain is too severe and not responding to those medications, an epidural steroid injection can be helpful to reduce the pain until surgery can be completed.
