Have been diagnosed on MRI with stenosis and bulging disk. Slight weakness an left side and discomfort
with hips but no pain except from falling. Have sudden intermittent collapsing of leg without warning so fell 3 times
in one day. Had brain MRI and X rays and everything looks clear with no evidence of stroke of abnormal brain scans.
77 year old man with healthy heart, blood pressure normal, swims 30 laps daily so otherwise muscles in
good shape. Can this leg collapsing be caused by stenosis or bulging disk since there is no
pain other than discomfort and pain from falling?

The stenosis can cause leg pain with standing and a pain-inhibition give-way with leg loading.
