    Hello Dr. Corenman,
I am post 4 level ACDF and T9-L2 Harrington Rod Fusion. I would like to condition my legs and cardio for an upcoming Elk hunt. I can’t run very well outdoors without considerable discomfort after maybe 50 feet. My question is would a Treadmill or Stair Stepper be acceptable?
    Thank you

Both are acceptable but the stair-stepper (elliptical) will give you more of an uphill conditioning with less impact.
