    Hi Dr. Corenman,

My name is Cristina and I have recently signed up for this forum in search of much needed guidance. I have been struggling with SI joint dysfunction and right hip pain for a few years now. Long story short, I strongly believe that I severely tore the interosseous ligaments of the SI joints last year, but I am puzzled by the fact that the pelvic MRI I had shortly after mentions almost nothing…I would greatly appreciate a second opinion from Dr. Corenman. Also, I have questions about SI joint surgery, and I believe the best thing to do at this time is to schedule an online appointment with Dr. Corenman in which to familiarize him with my situation. Please, let me know if this is possible. Thank you!

SI pain commonly originates from somewhere else as only about 6% of this pain truly is generated from the SI joint. You need a diagnostic work-up to determine your pain source.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that the ideal appointment should be in person, however I live in WA State and I am unable to travel at this time. Would it be possible to have a paid online meeting with you in which to explain my unique situation and possibly have a second opinion on the findings of my pelvic MRI? I would greatly appreciate it. I do not expect a definitive diagnosis, but I need an SI joint specialist to listen to my story with patience and an open mind. I am not a doctor, but I am passionate about anatomy and I know my body quite well. Please, let me know if we can start with an online meeting and I would be happy to come in person if I feel listened to and understood. Thank you.

I have a program called a “Long Distance Consultation” where other than the physical examination, I will help you to diagnose, understand and treat the disorder you might display. Call 888 888-5310 to get the information needed to start this program.
