    It would be inappropriate to give you six weeks of IV antibiotics and then 2-4 weeks of orals (the treatment for P. Acnes). Yes, there is a very small chance of infection with an aspiration but I have only seen two or three situations where an aspiration caused an infection (out of about 20,000 injections).

    I don’t like oral Decadron for more than 5 days in a row as there are chances of adrenal suppression and AVN.
