Sorry in advance if this question is not relevant to this site. Ive searched multiple forums for questions on neck pain. My problem is upper neck pain, close to the jaw. Ongoing for 3 years. Enlarged cervical lymph nodes for 2 years, 2 anterior cervical left, and one on right side of neck. My neck has extreme pain just below jawline, both sides, but mainly right side. Multiple muscle relaxers did absolutely nothing for pain. Was prescribed Norco which helped quite a bit. Ive had CT scans, Xray, and ultrasound. nothng alarming, just the lymph nodes. Xray showed extreme inflammation under jaw along entire neck. I can squezze my bone in lower jaw, just beside my chin, and feel extreme pain in a certain spot, almost like im pinching a nerve and this is the source of pain, though not sure what Im squeezing to isolate the pain. On mt CT scan, it says that my cervical spine is relatively aligned. Any idea on ANY possible causes of this pain?

Upper neck pain and pain that radiates into the lower skull (although not typically to the jaw) can originate from upper cervical facet disorders. These disorders are not related to lymph node enlargement. An MRI of your head to include your jaw might be helpful. There are disorders of the jaw that can cause pain and enlarged lymph nodes.
