Powerlifting should not put too much stress on an artificial disc replacement. It is direct force on the neck such as a fall onto the neck, a very large stress such as a motor vehicle accident with ejection from the car or an ejection seat from a fighter jet that could cause forces that could disrupt the disc. Don’t become an MMA fighter or a competitive downhill mountain biker.
