    Hi Dr. Corenman,

You operated on me 2/14/2018 and I am out of the collar and starting physical therapy. The PT folks do not want me to do any “Yes-No” exercises. In fact they told me to imagine that I have a tennis ball on my head and not to drop it :-).

I know that you used a Peek Cage on one of my levels (all autograft) therefore I wanted to be sure that I could start the “Yes-No” exercises. In general I’m doing well although the nerve(s) that were insulted by the ADR’s are still somewhat angry (left side).

Thanks again for the website – its awesome!

Qualifying the “somewhat angry (left-side)” = intermittent pain 2-3 out of 10, like a pulse, not related to movement, neck to shoulder area.

PT needs to allow for range of motion. I don’t want your neck to get stiff. Gentile range of motion is helpful. Don’t force your neck but don’t treat it like a fragile egg either. It will take at least 3 months for those nerves aggravated by the artificial discs to calm down.
