    thoughts on pemf therapy for herniated cervical disc & forminal stenosis/pinched nerve?

    PEMF or pulsed electromagnetic fields are not dangerous but unfortunately are generally not helpful for cervical or lumbar radiculopathies. These devices were originally designed for attempting to heal a stubborn slow-healing fusion but even then, I don’t think they were particularly effective.

    I have no objection to PEMF if you have the money to burn and understand the relative lack of effectiveness of this treatment.
