    Hello Doctor,
My father aged 67 years is currently suffering continuous pain in pelvis and thigh area. 3 Year back he had a piles surgery performed using Doppler gun and since then situation has gone worse , Currently he has the following observations.
    1. Hardness feeling inside the anal area
    2. Pelvis area pain (acute pain while sitting at coccyx)
    3. Knee joint pain
    4. Pinching feeling in ankle and foot area
    5. From last couple of days complaining of back pain
We have visited multiple gastroenterologist and Neurologist
Gastroenterologist – No sign of piles or fistula seen and suggested some oil and gels to normalize the hardness inside the anus area
Neurologist – Suggested it is nerve related pain and need to use painkillers continuously
After meeting a Gastro surgeon last month he suggested to get a Lumbar MRI done and after reviewing the same he asked to consult a Neurosurgeon further where we were told that there are certain findings in the MRI however can’t assure if the current problem of pain will be treated well.
My father had been using pain killer medicines(ibuprofen , analgesic) since last 40 years due to Neurological pain and developed resistance to normal pain killers. He now feels problem in normal movement of legs , crossing one leg over other and burning like feeling in the joint areas , He is currently practicing YOGA and gets some relief for small duration of 1 Hr. and later it’s the same situation
I have attached the MRI report and will be grateful if you could suggest or guide us.
    Best Regards
    NYA

Attachments don’t work for this website so you might want to post the report here directly. It is possible that his rectal pain is spine generated but this would be unusual.
