    Can you please tell me what pain pills and what kind of muscle relaxers and at what dose you prescribe after TLIF surgery ?

    This really depends patient to patient. Generally, I will prescribe Oxycontin 10 mg 2X/day for 2-4 weeks, Percocet 5mg, 1-2 every 4-8 hours for pain in the same period and Valium 5mg or Soma 350mg every 8 hours as needed for muscle spasm. Most patients are off meds in 4-6 weeks.
