I was told 2 years ago that I needed ACDF levels 3-7. I have osteoporosis. My elbows neck and shoulders hurt and my balance is off. I’m ready to go ahead with the operation and am wondering what you suggest I do to make my bones stronger to have a better chance of the screws holding and fusion being successful. I’m a 70 year old man. Thank you so much for this website!

If you have osteoporosis, especially as a male, you need to see an endocrinologist who specializes in bone disorders for a work-up. There are medications like Forteo that can be helpful but with all the new changes and findings, there might be something better.
