    HI DR, 2YRS POST C6/C7 FUSION MORE PAIN FROM NECK DOWN TO OUTER LEFT ARM DELTOID MUSCLE.I WAS STARTED ON A COMPOUND CREAM WICH HELPS A LITTLE,ALSO ON MY LEFT ARM CONTINUOS PAIN ACROSS ELBOW DIAGNOSED ULNAR NERVE DAMAGE POST BACK FUSION 2/2010 DR SAID IT WAS DUE TO THE POSITION I WAS IN WITH OUT BEING MOVED.WEAKNESS IN LEFT ARM, FINGERS 1/3/4/5 NUBMING.ARE THESE PROBLEMS PERMANENT?

    Arm pain can be generated by the neck (pinched nerve) or by damage to the nerve in a tunnel in the arm (entrapment neuropathy). You first need a diagnosis regarding the cause of the pain. This is diagnosed by a good history and physical examination and then imaging studies to help determine the cause.
