    Dear Sir,

My father is 70 years old and not able to walk. His legs are not working at all. The MRI report findings are as under:
    – Lumbar Spondylosis
    – Diffuse Disc Prolapse at L4/L5 level imparting moderate pressures at Thecal sac
    – Left Paracentral Disc prolapse at L3/L4 level imparting moderate pressure on Thecal SAC and left lateral neural Foramina
    – Disc Bulge at L5/S1 level imparting pressure on Thecal SAC.
    – Degenerative changes in Vertebrae

Advised: U/S Abdomen to evaluate parenchymal status of Kidneys.

The differential of inability to walk is diffuse and difficult to easily diagnose on a website. The problems could originate from the lumbar spine but problems could stem from the thoracic spine, cervical spine, brain or even organ based.

Your father could have lumbar neurogenic claudication, radiculopathy or any number of other problems. See https://neckandback.com/conditions/lumbar-spinal-stenosis-central-stenosis/ and https://neckandback.com/conditions/herniated-disc-lumbar-spine/.
