    Look up isthmic spondylolisthesis and pars fractures on the website to understand what your potential diagnosis is. If you are correct in your report that you have a slip associated with your spondylolysis, then the “stress fracture” will not heal.

    The ER doctor told you that you have multiple levels of degenerative disc disease which your orthopaedist did not report on. Obtain a copy of your radiologist report of ythe images to get yet another reading of your films.

    Dilaudid is a very strong and addicting narcotic and would not be a great medication to control your pain.

    I cannot tell you what to do. You need to confer with your parents. If you and they feel like all the information has been confusing and contradictory, a second opinion is always a way to gain more insight into your problem.
