Long term lower back pain is typically generated by the degeneration of the disc. End plate changes lead to a diagnosis of isolated disc resorption, a condition where the disc no longer can absorb impact and the stress is subsequently transferred to the endplate. The endplate then develops painful small fractures.
Ozone therapy is not a treatment I recommend. Ozone is oxygen in the O3 state (not the normal O2 state). In the O3 state, oxygen is highly reactive and will oxidize any tissue it comes in contact with. Also, injecting gas, even in solution into tissues can lead to embolism.
