I am 40 years old and have 2 children in elementary school. I am very worried when I have lower back pain. I am a loader at a coal company. I am very worried about my children who cannot pay for school.
I share your concern. If your job requires heavy loads and BLT (bend and load with twist) then your back can prematurely wear. See if there is a way they can accommodate you to reduce back loading. If not, is there another job in the company you can transfer to? Maybe try a core strengthening program to ameliorate the stress on your back.
