Hi, I am still having left leg stiffness after a microdiscectomy done in 2014

What causes the left leg stiffness?

“Leg stiffness” after a microdisc surgery could be from different causes. If the nerve root is scarred and cannot stretch as much as before the disc herniation, this can make the root sensitive to stretch. A new herniation can do the same thing. Hamstring stretches (which also stretch the root) are beneficial as long as you give the root time to recover after your stretching session.
