is an artificial disc surgery in the cervical spine can help from to prevention develop or slow arthritis better than (if the disc is degenarte (not little and more than 40 % loss high or the nucleus pulposus liquid out from the annulus (because trauma and effect of cumulative in this problem all the injuries to disc are cumulative (or gave better option from getting to stay with the disc disease to work with the facet and increase arthritis in the neck (if facets are not worn hard and arthritis not very developed (its the good choice ? for a young patient (because of the not comfort of fusion and the increase presser above and below the fusion over years (lead to risk for another surgery and arthritis and below the fusion and especially if its more than 1 level fusion fusion
AND ANOTHER Q is the disc also help from preventing thickening ligament (relative to disc high )?
*(I ear some opinion on this), but I want to listen for someone who really do ADR and others and know by himself what mostly result (in stat )

ADRs will not slow down facer arthrosis in the cervical spine.

what prevents ligament flavum buckling on the posterior spinal cord , causes central stenosis (very related to disc high and disc loss high and the materiel inside (the nucleus pulposus out because trauma the rings of annulus fibrosus not hold the water inside the disc the nucleus pulposus.
so you left down the disc for some years and ligament flavum are coming and over years it is severe pinch spinal cord and this can cause myelopathy who very serious (and this not need to happen immediately
this can worsen over time years.
i can show the progress of the thinking ligament flavum c3-4 more (via MRI 2016 2020 2021 and 11/21 1/22 (two last are in 3 tesla machine )
also more less it is ligament flavum c4-5 but he very less and mild compared to the big pressure from c3-4 ligament .
    thanks

so the ADR probably if you do in the right time (you relive the pressure from buckling on the spinal cord
this probably very correct ,?(also very important what better remove the ligament flavum (on surgery laminectomy and (big incision 8 cm (through the muscles ( 90% of the muscles behind the neck ) and also you damage the nuchal ligament are very important to keep the head in the normal position (and i listen that 20/50 % will developed post-laminectomy kyphosis(the head falling down ) so you do fusion with the laminectomy and (remove the disc and this lead more stress above and below the fusion and u are in same problem again (and needed to fused the next one )
off course if you are in bad [point and this is the option to prevent paralysis or dead in more severe cases .
and i m also not exactly mean that the ADR will help from nothing with facet worn out (
*I sharpen that question ( ” is artificial disc surgery in the cervical spine can help from to prevention develop or slow arthritis”) this will help nothing with the facet (if facet worn out mild or nothing and trauma effect just on the disc (and arthritis will still not developed you replace the disc in the right TIME you prevent from arthritis developed (or they will developed more in future but this is nore better option .
