    Good day,
I am two weeks post multi level laminectomy. There is no rhyme or reason as far as a common movement or position but every few hours I will have an insanely painful almost lightning bolt shoot through me. Is this to be expected as I heal? Thank you!

This pain should not be present. Lightening bolt type of pain could be from nerve impingement. A new MRI should be high on the list to discover why you have such pain.
